Not Just Another TOP 100 Forex Blogs to Follow in 2014
I came up with this idea in May 2014 to gather a list of the best 100 FOREX
related blog sites. I saw that this did not exist and started to work on it. Now we have a huge list of 100 blogs in the Forex industry which is unique.

It was a bit strange that just a few weeks earlier MahiFX created a similar list too which is pretty cool.
So here’s what I did. I Googled for other sites that have list of FOREX blogs and all of them were old, incomplete, with lots of dead links, etc. When it became apparent that this list wasn’t very satisfactory, I added to the list all of the URLs listed under the Alexa Forex classification. Obviously not all of them are blog sites so I manually visited hundreds of sites and picked only those relevant to this list. But I was still not happy with the outcome, so I went to the Alexa top 1 million list and isolated all the URLs that contained the string “FOREX”. I added the first 100 of those to the list.

This created a list of almost 600 URLs. Then I sorted them by Alexa rank (sorting date July 8th, 2014) and manually visited all of them to pick only the 100 best sites.
What makes my TOP 100 Forex blog list unique?
What makes my TOP 100 FOREX blog list to be unique is that I hand picked all of these sites and one of the things I looked for specifically was if the blog actually has any posts in 2014. I found many Forex blogs, that seem to be hosted by reputable Forex icons, are not active in 2014 anymore. As an example is Kathy Lien’s blog. She is quite well known among FOREX TRADERS, and I definitely do not have anything against her, but the fact that her blog has only two posts for 2014, three posts for 2013 and five posts for 2012 (which in total makes it 10 posts posted over the last 3 years) does not make it a Forex blog to follow that much. In my point of view it does not belong in a TOP Forex blog list.
